Ristorante Dolce E Forte

Spectacular! My wife and I stopped in while on vacation in Montespertoli in March of 2018. The restaurant is run by two brothers: one in the back cooking up amazing food, and one running the front end and selecting the wine. You can tell they are very passionate about what they do. From the moment we arrived, we were treated like family. He welcomed us and explained the restaurant/menu (there were two menus: one traditional and one modern). I ordered a glass of wine and it was fantastic; my wife doesn't usually like wine, but he brought one he thought she might like (on the house), and she did! :) Everything we ordered was phenomenal both in taste and presentation, right down to the apple dessert their mother had cooked up that morning! They also gave us some dessert wine to go along with it for free! We couldn't have asked for a better experience. If we are ever in Tuscany again, we will definitely be coming back. If you are in the area, do not miss this spot for dinner. You will not be disappointed!

I can’t say enough about this outstanding superb restaurant. Our friends who live locally highly recommended we all go there together. It was the highlight of our vacation! We were greeted with a warm welcome by this family run restaurant and the best service I have ever encountered in the business. The attention to detail and interaction was phenomenal. Everything we ordered from the appetizers to the famous Tuscan T-bone steak to the grand finale of truffles and lava cake desserts were all savored with each bite. We also really enjoyed the wild boar meat pasta. Every bite of each course set off fireworks on my taste buds! Each item we ordered was explained in detail down to what grass the beef was fed. The local wines were also thoroughly explained and were all excellent. The service was top notch. We were even given the honor of meeting the chef and his mother in the kitchen. To say this was the best meal of my life is an understatement. If I could give it more than 5 stars I would. They hit it out of the park!

Absolutely fantastic experience here. The restaurant is run by twin brothers, one of whom is the chef (Lorenzo) and one of whom is your ambassador to everything food and wine (Fabrizio). They treated us like family and we walked away from the evening wishing we had discovered this gem earlier in our vacation so that we could have returned for another night of dining. We also walked away with recommendations for wine and cheese tastings from local places where they source ingredients. Let me say it again - Fantastic!

This was the best meal we’ve had touring Europe (Spain, Italy, Greece). The menu rotates for the seasons but is a mix of traditional Tuscan food and fusion food (mostly Asian inspired). Everything is cooked perfectly. A little bit of a wait for each course but it’s so worth the wait. I wish I could rate higher than 5 stars!

Had a great evening there. Food was amazing, as well as the service. Quite a fair price for the quality and a surprising mix of Tuscan cuisine, rounded of with amazing Asian dishes. Seems that the cook offers only his or her favorites and doesn’t follow any dogmas. In a group of eight everyone found something they wanted and liked. Really super nice.

Found this gem by chance, and glad I did! The restaurant is run by two brothers, who are both super nice and treats you great. One brother runs the front, and the other is the chef. The food is great, and you’ll have a great experience eating there!
